- active cancer
- acute bacterial and viral inflammations
- sensory disturbances
- metal implants in the area of the procedure
- pacemaker
- prone to bleedings from the gastrointestinal tract
- epilepsy
- breastfeeding
- mental instability
- ANY type of blood thinner

- broken blood vessels
- skin diseases
- neuralgia eye and trigeminal nerves

- Sunburn
- Undiagnosed pain
- Inflammation, including arthritis
- Cardio-vascular conditions (thrombosis, phlebitis, hypertension, heart conditions)
- Oedema
- Psoriasis or eczem
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Osteoporosis
- Cancer
- Nervous or psychotic conditions
- Heart problems, angina, those with pacemakers
- Epilepsy
- Diabetes
- Bells palsy, trapped or pinched nerves
- Gynecological infections
